Description
The DB2368IAS-W 2000 Series Base Sounder with Isolator is an addressable base sounder with integrated isolator for fire alarm systems running 2000 series addressable fire protocol. The DB2368IAS-W may be installed below a 2000 series detector or used as standalone with the AS2368CAP-R cap. Multiple tone selection and full CPR approval ensure conformance to local regulations.
All 2000 series sounders operate over a 2-wire 2000 series loop and are loop powered i.e. no external power supply is required. They are compatible with automatic phased-start synchronization controlled from the fire panel.
Installation
Device cabling is done to the base sounder and allows a detector to be fitted and locked into position afterwards. Only one set of connections is used for both the base sounder and the detector. A separate earth terminal is provided in the base for connecting the screen or functional earth when required.
Efficient And Versatile
The 2000 series sounders may be put into different operating modes depending on local requirements. They provide high sound output at a low current, thus reducing power standby requirements and overall system cost. They are supplied with high/low volume settings as standard, allowing final audio adjustments to be made during installation.
All sounders are tone selectable during installation, with 32 tone settings available. |
